The Henry Sale Foundation's inaugural fundraising Clay Pigeon Shoot will be set in the stunning location of Upper Woodbatch, with the kind permission of James and Chloe Boggis.
The farm is set on the border of Herefordshire and Wales, 20 minutes from Ludlow and an hour from Worcester. The clay shooting competition will be professionally run by Swift Valley Sporting.
The beautiful venue naturally provides a challenge to the guns to create an exciting competition. The skills of 25 teams will be tested on four simulated high bird and ground game rolling 100 clay flushes and is sure to attract competitors from all over the UK.
Guests will be catered for throughout the day with refreshments on arrival and during the shooting, followed by a hog roast in the marquee. The bar will be stocking some fine local beers, wines and gins.
Deliberately there won't be endless requests for money throughout the day and the only additional fundraiser will be a raffle with a spectacular prize of Dinner and B & B for 2 at Crumplebury.
