2023
BIGKID is on a mission to end youth violence and social exclusion in London. We supported BIGKID foundation with the costs for their our annual 5-day sailing residential programme in Aldeburgh, on the Suffolk coast. This programme offered young people from diverse backgrounds a rare opportunity to leave London.
As the Ashes grip the nation The Henry Sale Foundation is delighted to take our partnership with Chance to Shine into our 7th summer. Over the past 12 months we’ve sponsored over 50 free cricket sessions for young boys and girls across Leicestershire.
2022
The Henry Sale Foundation is delighted to have provided a grant to the charity, Little Troopers, to help launch a new project supporting the children of our British Armed Forces.
The Henry Sale Foundation continued support for Jamie’s Farm and granted funds towards the ‘Pig Woods’ project which gives them the facilities to boost capacity by welcoming additional visitors in a self-sufficient space, consisting of sheltered fire circle and firepit, composting loo, sheltered outdoor food preparation area and treehouse.
HSF granted funds towards the development of a new sensory garden at East Clayton Farm, to provide a safe space for vulnerable young people to enjoy gardening, wildlife, fruit, and vegetables.
HighGround give expert support, guidance and advice to help ex-military personnel
explore careers in the land-based sector. We supported their Rural Week programme.
The Henry Sale Foundation continued our support for Dementia Adventure and granted funds to their ‘Support Adventure’s programme’ which enables trips to be 25% subsidised.
We financially enabled a project to make an adapted surfboard for 10-year-old Imogen, who has cerebral palsy, so that she can ride the waves just like everyone else.
